Please watch the video on setting up My Fitness Pal.  Once you create your account you will be given a temporary caloric limit.  This is the number that should be sent to me for approval.

CHECKPOINT #2: Please text me a picture of yourself that will be used as a your contact profile photo which will help me put a face to your name and say you have reached the 2nd checkpoint!

Setting up Fitness Pal

MY FITNESS PAL SET UP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Link to my account- My username is GETUGREAT. After you create your account, you have to send me a friend request. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings > Friends> click the +> Select @email or MyFitnessPal Username > search GETUGREAT

2. Caloric Allowance - The program will assign you a generic caloric allowance. THIS IS NOT what you are to follow as the app is not associated with my program or meals. Be sure you have completed checkpoint #2 to receive your caloric limit for the day.

*LEAVE THE MACROS AS WE WILL NOT BE USING THEM DURING THE FIRST TIER. See detailed guide for explanation.

3. Privacy Settings - In order for me to see your entries, the following steps must be taken. You can do this by following these steps:
Settings > Diary Dettings>Diary Sharing > Friends. Then click the ✔️.

4. Change Meal Names. In order for me to see your meals and snacks as you eat them you will need to rename your meals. I prefer that you create 6 meals for your log even if you are not eating six times. This will be explained later. Follow these steps to change your meal names:
Settings > Diary Settings > Customize Meal Names > Change to:
Meal 1 : Breakfast
Meal 2: MiniMeal 1
Meal 3: Lunch
Meal 4: MiniMeal 2
Meal 5: Dinner
Meal 6: MiniMeal 3

5.. Profile- Please add a picture of yourself on the MFP profile page. This helps me identify who is who when I go through the logs! This can be done by following these steps:
Settings> Profile>Profile Picture
